Sailing Luxembourg
Six years ago we took a trip to Paris. I enjoyed watching the children sail their rented static sailboats in thr Luxembourg Garden fountain. Later, the adults came to sail with their larger Radio Controlled sailboats. I was hooked and built my own RC sailboat. I have plans to build another one, soon.

Saskatoons
Juneberries, Serviceberries, Saskatoons, whatever you call them, have suffered under this drought. Only a couple trees were plump with berries. The rest shriveled on the tree.

The Mayfly
Another hobby is Radio Controlled sailing. Its a 37 inch long sailboat roughly 5 feet from keel to mast. Two channels are used for control. One for the rudder and one to control the sail booms. Wood construction, half the fun of RC sailing is building the boat.

Baby Chickadee
Today was a day for gardening. I’m amazed by how dry it is. I went to get the hose to water and found a baby chickadee in the landscape rocks. Apparently the chickadees built a nest in a hole on the house’s soffit. I put her back.

Are they called Bleeding hearts or Dutchmen’s breeches? Either way a nice subject to capture with the iPhone 11 and Camera plus 2 app.
