A quick walk through Elm Creek Park Reserve revealed this shy Hooded Merganser pair. I tried sneaking up closer of a better photo. They would have none of that and slipped into the creek swimming upstream away from me. I am thinking I now need a 600mm lens to sneak up on them.

Spring is near, and the new models are out ready for sale at Trailhead cycle and Fitness. I purchased a new bicycle last summer, but it's always fun to browse around in a bicycle shop.

Bike Shop

Spring fever has set in, go visit your neighborhood bicycle shop. Here in the North Metro, we have Traihead Cycling and Fitness . They have a wide variety and selection of bicycles to choose from. Better yet, they have riding events. Just meet up at their door for scheduled events, and your off on a group cycle ride. Stop in and test ride a model. We are still in the winter season, it is best to ride with studded tired on the snow and ice.

Their new marketing scheme will promote healthier french fries. How you ask? They claim their new french fries will be higher in potassium therefore healthier for children. Have you ever heard such nonsense? Marketing healthy french fries from fast food? Really, now, that's just downright misleading.

How Fast...

...do you want your food?

Why is that? I have been frustrated with photos on Blogger appearing lower resolution than from flickr. Anyone have any ideas as to why or how to resolve this? (Other than changing to Word Press, Typepad, or creating a dedicated domain).
