This big snapping turtle was walking along side of the paved bicycle trail.

Waouhh, voila un modèle surprenant, superbe portrait et voit bien toutes les rides, magnifique.
ReplyDeleteWaouhh, veiled an amazing model, superb portrait and sees all wrinkles definitely, splendid
When the photograph was loading itself, I thought it's a tree! Then appeared a frog looking out from the tree-hole. But then, looking at the creature's distinct nose, I felt it's a turtle. Then the full photograph got loaded, and I couldn't believe how beautiful this turtle photograph is! Just look at the algae on its shell!! Marvelous!!!

By the way, I have no idea what Snap E Tom Tomato and Chile Cocktail is, being in India.
Wow, what a cool shot! The details of the turtle are very well captured. :)
ReplyDeleteSpecks of grass on the turtle's back? As if someone had mowed a lawn next it.
ReplyDeleteSuperb!
Great macro shot! I don't think I've ever looked a turtle in the eyes before.
ReplyDeleteHe's impressive. Be careful though they can be surprisingly fast!
ReplyDeleteI had the same impression as Bhavesh , nice to meet turtles when riding your bike !
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he's just relaxin', taking it all in. I wouldn't put my finger too close though. Very nice shot.
ReplyDeleteAnd you snapped his picture. That's a turn-about! Hope you used a long lens. Super shot, DL!
ReplyDeleteHOLY SMOKES !!!!
ReplyDeleteSo by the grass I can tell he's decent sized but he looks huge in the picture. Beautiful yes..... but at a distance for sure. I came across one of these bad boys canoeing the crow wing river years ago and you sure don't want to be in the water when one goes swimming by.
Awesome shot !!!
Looks like an ugly blighter!
ReplyDeleteI think I like the green grass the best in this photo--offsetting the snapper. Nice!
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't commented but I always get stuck on your site and my computer freezes up. Hopefully thats not happening anymore!
Have a great week!
absolutely beautiful shot - the color is perfect - love the eye contact!
