I really like this. It's ominous and has a sense of danger.
Thanls for your comment on my fireworks post. For some reason I can't cut-n-paste the URL of the site where I got my instructions here but google "how to photograph fireworks" and look at the page from Digital Photography School. I was using tripod and cable release, f11, 100 ISO and bulb with exposures from around 4 to 11 seconds. Part of the trick seems to be opening the shutter just as you think the burst is about to start and closing it as the glow fades.
Black & white was a good choice for this shot. I also like the transition from very light to shadowed. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful light! Nice for B&W.
ReplyDeleteNive shot but not very inviting ...;)
ReplyDeleteNice angle - the arched opening looks very spooky. You go first, and I'll be right behind you...
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Rob - thanks for joining in with such great quality work.A stunning image so well graded in contrasts.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully shot but I'm a little nervous here!

Must be creepy without light, no?
ReplyDeleteGreat B&W
Spooky. I'm shuddering!

First of all, this is an excellent photograph, which we've come to expect from you...but I sure wouldn't want to go down there late at night...
ReplyDeleteYikes!
Great picture. I like the contrast.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot! But the place looks quite scary...:)
ReplyDeleteNice shot, but I have to agree with the others, it's kinda scary.
