It's Over

Long Sunset

Last of the Summer Sky

The waning light of summer
Vivid colors of autumn
Summer's last sunset

Sadly, this is the first day of autumn; summer is officially over. As the summer sun sets, we anticipate a glorious season of autumnal colors. Then that white crap falls from the sky.

  3. Great sunset shots, and you mirror my sentiments. About October time all I do is tick off the days till Spring. Winter is just grey, wet and dark in UK. Not a lot going for it.

  9. Well get this. I"m the only yard on my street with leaves all over it!

Guess you're about ready to close up the cabin before the ice floes come floating by. Just think DL, it's almost snow shoveling weather!!! :)

    FAB photos BTW.

  10. Love that first shot...you must have slowed the shutter speed way down. I mean, the second shot is also glorious, but in the first one the lake almost looks like it has a coating of snow...

What white crap? I thought you got from the birds in the summer...
