This scene has many lights, many unnatural lights illuminating Minneapolis. However, there are few natural lights, a few faint lights. Look real hard, there are five faint stars in the sky shining. Also, there are few lamps on the Stone Arch Bridge.

ReplyDeleteWe have so little night pollution here that the stars are usually visable unless we have low cloud cover. They are twinkling over the bridge though here. Wonderful evening scene many layered.

ReplyDeleteI like how the points of light ~ the light under the bridge arch, the lamps, the office building windows, the neon sign ~ become the high points of the photo. This photo in the daylight would be all about the bridge and maybe the water. having it black and white increases the contrast between light and dark.
