Floating Tulip

More views from the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. I thought this one turned out fairly nice in macro. I only wish I had a speedlight. Maybe Mrs. Claus is listening for a gift idea. ;-)

Just wondering: when you say "in macro" do you mean the macro mode of your camera or did you use a macro lens? I forget if you have Canon or Nikon...if Nikon, I guess the proper term would be "micro". Anyhow, it's a wonderful shot! And by the way, if you have an in with Santa, please drop my name :-)

Yes, I am a Canonite. Thats OK you're a Nikonian. ;-)

My lens, the Canon EFS 17-85mm IS USM is also a Macro lens. THe Macro is in the lens.

I keep thinking in macro mode from using my Canon S5 IS (point and shoot powershot camera) supermacro menu feature.

Beautiful. The enlarged image gives you a bug's life perspective. You just want to crawl inside.

Beautiful! I took a similar picture of a very similar tulip this spring at our arboretum. I'd like a bunch of these in my garden, too!
