Forgotten Bench

A bench in the woods.
The bench, a place to relax and visit for a moment. We take these outdoor furnishings for granted not really noticing the designs and styles we view on a daily basis. To see more benches stop by and visit this blog;

Benches are one of my favorite subjects...

These forgotten spots are excellent when found and make the nicest photos of all, just like this one did for you.

I have a bench that is so old and crumbly that nobody would risk setting on it but it sure photographs well.

Abraham Lincoln
Brookville, Ohio happened naturally.

j'aime beaucoup ce banc à l'ombre, il donne envie de s'y reposer après cette journée de chaleur.

I love this bench in the shade, he wanted to rest after the day's heat.

I know why I like coming here. It's the combination of the image, the well chosen title and thoughtful words to accompany each post. The forgotten bench works perfectly as it's shaded, in the dark, lost.

I wish I had some days off and could just sit on a bench like this and read or contemplate Life, The Universe, and Everything.

Ah, 42! but, what is The Ultimate Question?

What is our age! ;-)

Maya: Whoa! This is all to unsettling as if Deep Thought were here. Is this by pure coincidence that our age reflects the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything?
