Travel Tuesday
I know the Rue de Bac station. I stayed a few more blocks down Blvd. Saint-Germain when I was there in 2006.
ReplyDeletenostalgie nostalgie, chacun sa nostalgie moi c'est NYC ;o))
ReplyDeletewhere is Virginia when we need her?
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing shots. WOw!
I have always wanted to visit Paris :) Great shots~
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos of Paris. I just got back yesterday from Morocco so sorry for the delay in responding to comments but I will catch up on photos this week. Your photos are great. It is fun catching up. I love your Boardwalk reflection. Morocco is very French and many people speak French, as well as Arabic. It was rather a surprise that the food, the signage, and the language was French.
ReplyDeleteGeez, I've never been out of the country, so I have no idea! Many trips to come in my future, though, with my Fiance' :)
ReplyDeleteVery close to the Bd St Germain (7th arrondissement/district) and the Rodin Museum is not very far... as well as the Seine of course...
ReplyDeleteThe old bus is superb, the regitration tax must be very affordable!
I have often walked down this street before. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place!! ;-) 6th and western 7th arrondissements are amongst my favourites!
ReplyDeleteThe framing and composition in the first one is great. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteLove the composition and B&W treatment in this. I am planning an excursion into Paris in the first week of June. I will actually be in Brussels on business so it will only be a one day dash into Paris via eurorail. I am compiling a shot list. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteLoved the photo. Was drawn to it from the thumbnail. So now had to sign up to Travel Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't place them by visual memory but I know where the Rue du Bac station is. You gave us an easy one there.
ReplyDeleteI came here following Gail's Man's post about Travel Tuesday. I think I'll join in next week.
ReplyDeleteThese are excellent photos of Paris in B&W.
Love the shot thru the arch. Black and white was a good choice. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteLooks like everyone beat me to the punch and know more about Paris than I do...I knew two things: It wasn't Minneapolis and the photos were of Paris.
ReplyDeleteCan I go now?
I am alll about this and can't wait to get to your other blog. I have no clue where this is but I want to be right there. WHERE is Peter when we need HIM??? I'll look for it in just a few weeks DL and will be posting from Paris THRough My Lens as much as possible. Thanks for this little trip to Paris today. AHhhhhh
ReplyDeleteV
Sorry, but despite some 35 years in Paris I cannot exactly locate the first (nice) one! The second is too easy! :-)
ReplyDeleteSee? I knew Peter would know or know one of them!HA
ReplyDeleteWow... this must be called "Stump the Experts"
