2 Things Challenge - Local / International

Local - 3rd Avenue Bridge

International - Ponte Vecchio
-
This week's Two Things Challenge is Local / International.
For this challenge, I chose a bridge reflection in a river. My Local image is the 3rd Ave. bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My International image is Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River in Florence, Italy.

Rob, well done, but what I am going to say is against the grain of the other posters. The Avenue Bridge would be fantastic if only the power lines were not in the image. There I said it, I'm sorry but...... I just keep seeing the lines.

Ah the first is like an old friend, i have always admired your image of that bridge. the second a new friend I'd love to wander. Elegance personified.
I'm having a pure photography week to explain natural images as opposed to photoshop and what being a photographer is. I'd appreciate your thoughts if you get chance.

Your local is great! And for once the power lines helped in the feel of the picture!

I just love that view of downtown. On first glance I thought that was the Stone Arch Bridge.
