Wow, that's something I've never seen before... the ducks are usually long gone by this point!

The iridescent green of their heads stands out so beautifully...lovely photo. Don't they fly south for winter?

I've been trying to get shots of some ducks congregated in some open water nearby, but they're so squirmy, can't get close enough without setting of the duck alarms. The hawks hanging out nearby probably don't help either. Ducks forced into a small area are I guess ... sitting ducks, and they know it.

I love the bird in mid flap on the right with the blurred wings

Nice! I have to go back and check the ducks in "my" park which has been closed because of snow. The ice should be gone by now.

They don't look the least bit cold.

They all look like they are heading in the same direction. Probably to the heated pool!

They must all be related. That's what I'm thinking.

Gutsy little cusses!! But a very nice shot. Oh, btw... considering that we are so close to each other (by blogging standards) we need to meet in the city one of these days to do lunch and talk photos. :)

This shot is SO Minnesota! Is there still any open water around or has it frozen?

Poor Donalds!

I liked your alone/not alone shots too!
