I agree with June re. the past. Strange, isn't it, how progress makes unwanted changes, at least for some of us? The smell of new books and newspapers will soon be something of the past. Love the sculpture...a different kind of public art.

Wait a minute, William Randolph Hearst was kinda like Olbermann and O'Reilly! At least back in the days of print news there was the idea of fair reporting. But I'm about to stand on my soapbox and start bloviating myself...

No way will the newspaper disappear in the UK. It's a cornersrone of the morning rush hour. Good point you've raised ans the image just underlines it perfectly.
The newsboy is gone...the paper itself will soon follow. I feel old!
