Rocky

Great Horned Owl chick. We quietly walked through the woods and spotted this owl chick. We were a considerane distance away using a focalpoint of 300mm. I also had to crop the image. I'm really wishing I had that 500mm to eliminate the cropping process.

Good get...even if you did have to crop. It's something I'm very familiar with doing since a 500mm is likely never to be mine!

That's a great shot and there's nothing wrong with cropping...so long as the shot is sharp...almost every photo needs some cropping...we're artists, remember?
