Great Horned Owl chick.
We quietly walked through the woods and spotted this owl chick. We were a considerane distance away using a focalpoint of 300mm. I also had to crop the image. I'm really wishing I had that 500mm to eliminate the cropping process.
Really beautiful ; i 'm sure it wasn't easy to see it among the branches ! well captured ;)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, wow, wow. Such a beauty. Great capture of such a wise looking creature.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Welcome little one! I hope you fare long and well.
ReplyDeleteGood get...even if you did have to crop. It's something I'm very familiar with doing since a 500mm is likely never to be mine!
ReplyDeletebelle prise photographique, une réussite.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photography prize, a success.
AWESOME! At least you don't have to tote that 500mm around! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteAnother nice one. Cute little fella.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of a beautiful bird.
ReplyDeleteA cute little one. And well done with "just" a 300mm lens.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot and there's nothing wrong with cropping...so long as the shot is sharp...almost every photo needs some cropping...we're artists, remember?
ReplyDeletewow, that is so amazing! never seen one! amazing!
ReplyDeleteHey, at least you had a 300! Nice shot.
