  4. That is totally a "WOW !!!!" shot.

Great caption for the photo, great perspective of the fish. This looks far more like something you would have captured in an aquarium .... I say that not because it looks fake.... not at all.... I say that because I can not imagine how you managed to get this picture. So clear and clean in that lake..... and even more so.... how you happen to be fortunate enough to be over one like that.

Fantastic shot !!!! Thanks for sharing.

  5. Wow! I bet you waited for that one.
Isn't that something how they stock all the Twin Cities lakes with these fish?
I wonder how big they have gotten? This looks like he's only 15 pounds or so.
Of course, if I caught one I wouldn't know what to do with it.

  6. Nice fish! I can't imagine how you took the shot without getting water ripples on the surface. Very cool.

  8. That's pretty darn good. I have never been able to catch one of these with a hook much less a camera! Lake Harriet, heh?

    Terrific photo, DL!

  10. Flying fish! I'm no fisherman. I think I've only tried it twice but one was on Rainy Lake on the Minnesota - Ontario border 30 years ago. I remember that there were muskie and walleye pike and that those suckers were mean. This stuff is better left to the pros.
