Hav the colours been 'tweaked'? they seem to have an 'edge'.

Hard to believe when it's still in the nineties during the day over here...
HDR is such a fascinating tool...like the effect on this shot.
Colors are highly tweaked. This one is a Lightroom trick I learned, not HDR. The idea is for a gritty urban feel by increasing the Recovery, Fill Light, Contrast, Clarity, and Vibrance sliders all to 100%. Then slide the Saturation slider to the left until the colors settle down almost until it turns to monochrome, or to your liking. Next step is to darken the edges a touch using the Lens Correction and Midpoint sliders.
Snow fell? Nicely done. I haven't tried this trick before...
