Late Autumn

Late Autumn

This evening, I have a date with a rake. The downside of autumn is yard cleanup.

  2. There must be a theme today. Yours is the fourth photo I have come across with leaves. Great shot. Love the mixture of color and texture.

  5. Not an HDR image, just over the top processing for a gritty feel.

I use both Photoshop Lightroom and Elements 5.0. In Lightroom, I increase the Recovery, Fill Light, Contrast, Clarity, and Vibrance Sliders to +100%. I also use the Strong Contrast on the curves section and increase the blacks slider to 15 to 25%. Then I back off on the Saturation slider to the negative value; -75 in this photo.

  6. I think a photo like this is a pretty good excuse not to rake at all.

  7. Very nice. Autumn is an amazing time when you have a camera in your hand.

  8. But the upside is the awesome Autumn photos you take! Or did someone already say that?

  9. I just leave it (no pun intended) and hope the worms do the job. They normally do!
