I remember my year in Wisconsin. That's when I acquired a taste for beer and potato pancakes. Looks like some folks at these festivities have been knocking down some brewskis as well. You did a great job capturing the event while still able to hold the camera still! :)
ReplyDeleteCheers! Looks like great fun, all that dancing isn't to bad once you've had several pints!
ReplyDeleteThe Germans know how to have fun! We have a similar event in Adelaide annually in January called the Schutzenfest.
ReplyDeletePretty great shots for someone I'm sure was consuming those beers!! Love the hand in the last shot :) Makes the shots "human" .
ReplyDeleteThat's my Pop's hand clapping to the beat of the polka. At our table we sang Edelweiss and Do Re Mi.
ReplyDeleteYep, four 1/2 litres of Hacker Pschorr...that's 2 full litres of beer!
In Knoxville we had the Greek Fest and Hola ~ Hispanic Festival. Lots of celebrations! Great blog and photos!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great party!!!... And I've lost it... ;-0
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! Did you polka?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a blast.
ReplyDeleteBedienerin, mehr Bier bitte!
