I remember my year in Wisconsin. That's when I acquired a taste for beer and potato pancakes. Looks like some folks at these festivities have been knocking down some brewskis as well. You did a great job capturing the event while still able to hold the camera still! :)

The Germans know how to have fun! We have a similar event in Adelaide annually in January called the Schutzenfest.

That's my Pop's hand clapping to the beat of the polka. At our table we sang Edelweiss and Do Re Mi.

Yep, four 1/2 litres of Hacker Pschorr...that's 2 full litres of beer!

In Knoxville we had the Greek Fest and Hola ~ Hispanic Festival. Lots of celebrations! Great blog and photos!
