Patina details on the solarium at the Swedish Institute on Park Ave. The museum, located within the historic Turnblad mansion, showcases the Institute's collection of Swedish glass, decorative and fine arts, textiles, and items from Sweden. The permanent exhibit "Swedish Life in the Twin Cities" explores the local Swedish-American community through photographs, diaries, vintage recordings and immigrant artifacts.

When you posted this a week ago, I had never seen this place before [least I cannot recall seeing it]. It's quite the building I must say, lots of character. There are smaller gargoyles all over the place from what I see.
ReplyDeleteThe photo from today, it looks like the gutter system downspout starts from a gargoyle's mouth. That is a gutter right?
