Green Room

Patina details on the solarium at the Swedish Institute on Park Ave. The museum, located within the historic Turnblad mansion, showcases the Institute's collection of Swedish glass, decorative and fine arts, textiles, and items from Sweden. The permanent exhibit "Swedish Life in the Twin Cities" explores the local Swedish-American community through photographs, diaries, vintage recordings and immigrant artifacts.

Beautiful photo---this looks as if it could have been in Europe. You take such amazing photos...do you mind my asking what camera you use?

I look forward to your posts each day.

When you posted this a week ago, I had never seen this place before [least I cannot recall seeing it]. It's quite the building I must say, lots of character. There are smaller gargoyles all over the place from what I see.

The photo from today, it looks like the gutter system downspout starts from a gargoyle's mouth. That is a gutter right?

Thank you so much for the information...you truly are talented. I can only imagine what you would do with the Rebel (my dream camera, too)! :)
