White Oak

Not literally in the sense of tree type. Honestly, I have no idea what type of tree this is. Only that his makes for an interesting pic...at least in my opinion.

We are in the middle of Doris A. Kemp Park, between Highway 169, West River Road, and the Mill Ponds. Here, we have a slightly different view of the bridge I showed you on Monday. http://northmetro.blogspot.com/2008/01/frozen-pond-scum.html

Very pretty snow scene.

I'm guessing the wind was blowing when it was snowing...for that snow to be all over the side of that tree. And not just that one but all of those trees. What a UNIQUE shot!!
Fabulous!

Oh, it's like a picture out The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe after the children pass through the wardrobe and into Narnia!

I'll bet this would be really cool to shoot at night with the lamp lit!

Very cool picture!

That is a beautiful photo...I'm enjoying the snow photos so much (as we have not yet had even one flake!).

I enjoyed hearing about your love of a good pulled-pork sandwich. :) Have you been the Memphis before? I posted a little something today, with you in mind.

j'adore ce kiosque sous la neige, une très belle photo (et toujours pas de neige a Evry)

I love this kiosque under the snow, a beautiful picture (and still no snow Evry)
