I always enjoy visiting refuge areas to observe animals in their habitat (where visiting is allowed). Here, we have one of the largest waterfowl habitats, supported by Ducks Unlimited. What type of wildlife is found the refuge you shared with us?
ReplyDeletebrrr... apart from the frozen look, I think it's wonderful when wildlife has (still) a place of its own.
ReplyDeletevery beautiful capture, beautiful shapes
ReplyDeleteOH, I would LOVE to explore this refuge....is that permitted?
ReplyDeleteit does look very beautiful and wintry... i wish we could get some snow sometime - no ice, just snow.....
ReplyDeleteBefore I click on the picture to enlarge it, I thought the sign read "Wildlife Refuge: Landing on Blinds Prohibited" and I thought, "Are you kidding me?! Who's going to stop birds from landing on blinds?" Now I see it says "islands." Oy. time for glasses!
