July Snowball

The Dandelion.
A happy cheerful little yellow flower looked upon as a weed. But a pretty scene when gone to seed.

  1. superbe photo, elle me fait penser à la devise des dictionnaires Larousse en France "elle sème à tous vents" avec une femme qui souffle doucement sur cette fleur. j'aime beaucoup la lumiere sur cette fleur.

superb photo, it makes me think the motto of the Larousse dictionary in France "it sows winds at all" with a woman who blows gently on this flower. I love the light on this flower.

  3. Do you blow them and with each blow do "he loves me, he loves me not" until the last blow which is the answer to your query?

  7. This is the second dandelion today. Curly from sunderland has a part dandelion. It is a wonderful image of such a delicate flower. Not easy to capture as they flutter so much in the lightest of breezes I find. Brilliant capture of a difficult subject.

  8. I think they are pretty before seed too! It seems you think of winter even when not in it... ;-)

  9. Thanks for visiting Sydney DP. No tips for the piano player - unless someone is busking in the street, when you might throw a few coins in a hat, that just wouldn't be done here. You never tip people in Australia other than in a restaurant for exceptional service (and not in cafes at that) . Neither pianist nor customer would know how to react in that eventuality!

  10. It reminds me of my childhood. We used to pick them and blow all the seeds off while counting like it was a clock!
