Yet another sunset from Lake Vermilion, this viewpoint has been seen often. Taken July 3rd, the day before our Independence Day celebration. Nature provides the best light show that fireworks can not compete with.
In the center, behind the island, we see a glimpse of red. That red is actually where the sun has just set behind the the distant shore approximately 2.8 miles ( 4.5km) away.
Great picture, the colors and the crispness are awesome. If you get that often, you are very lucky.
ReplyDeleteI agree - nature's the best show on earth. Beautiful shot of beauty.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a stunning sunset. Your timing on this was spot on to get that red fire glow on the horizon.

ReplyDeleteOoooh. Pretty, pretty.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, man-made fireworks cannot compete with those of nature!
ReplyDelete"Louis" et Mme. la Vache celebrate their premier anniversaire today.
I'd rather be sitting there watching a this sunset than watching fireworks any day! Nice shot!
