Autmn Mist

An early autumn morning at the lake in northern Minnesota.
Waiting for the morning coffee to brew, I set out in the early morning for some photo opportunities. Not a sound, except for the birds singing their wake up calls and the gentle lap of the waves on shore.

Beautiful. I love the quiet of early morning, broken only by birds and crickets.

And sirens and planes taking off from National and the garbage truck...

Okay, never mind. Not the same thing. I think I'll just look at your picture and imagine the peacefulness.

Well everyone so poetic I think I just need to keep quiet. I see fall color peeping out. We don't have a singe leaf here yet although we have some brown ones starting to fall. Hope that's not a sign of a drab autumn. Last year was our best one. Lovely photo DL.
