Patterns of moss growing on solid granite. OK, maybe this isn't a perfect example of solid / pattern. But my 10 year old niece and I thought these "dots" of moss were pretty. They were soft too. She liked how the surrounding moss was "fuzzy" in the photo.
So there you have it, solid / pattern!
It's beautiful. Love the light illuminating each stem (?) of the moss.
ReplyDeleteI'm with tash. The light is so great in this photo. I think it's a great interpretation of solid/pattern!
ReplyDeleteGreat entry! This is really good and so diverse from your towers!
ReplyDeleteI've linked you in my blog roll, hope that's ok! You can see it here...

Very nice. Love the lime green moss. :o)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. Looks like a mini landscape.
ReplyDeleteLove this kind of moss and you captured it perfectly. I am picturing you laid out on the rocks to get just the right angle. I would have had to take an aerial shot! Your light is great.

ReplyDeleteI agree with your niece! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful capture!!
ReplyDeleteThey look like yellow hedgehogs digging their way through...
These look so pretty with the light playing over them that I can't believe it's the same stuff that I remove with the high pressure hose.
ReplyDeleteI like low shots, you see the workd differently from this level. Love the light gradiating.
ReplyDeleteThey look like little green hedgehogs - very cool shot.
ReplyDeleteNicely done and interesting interpretation!
