Old Fishing Net

My Grandfather's old fishing net. The materials were purchased on one of his many trips back to Finland in the 1960's; hand made by Grandpa. It has seen many seasons of whitefish netting but is now retired.

Looks like a nest of hibernating snakes.

I'm so pleased that you have it nearby to photograph. Imagine the time it took to make that. Beautiful image.
